We have loved this school, and the teachers and staff. There is a very strong feel of community here, and the bilingual education the kids receive is incredible. Our older kids started there over 10 years ago, and now are using their fluent Spanish at their jobs, and it got them off to a great start educationally. We've tried other schools (only due to the large distance between our home and the school), but keep coming back, and don't plan on letting any of our children miss out on this amazing opportunity. As a free public charter school, with a full-day kindergarten, and some really great programs, it's an education that can't be beat, and teaches the kids not only the Spanish language, and all the standard subjects (in English and Spanish!) but also gives a strong education on multiculturalism, diversity, and inclusivity, which our world sorely needs.

Such a tight family! We made the decision to send our youngest child here and we all have loved it every day. Our daughter is getting the type of well-rounded, real-life, culturally-immersive education that every child deserves. And she comes home speaking Spanish to us! DIA takes care of her, keeps her safe, and teaches her the things we value most. We have appreciated the caring teachers and staff. And the other students have the biggest little hearts!

I go to that school right now I'm in 6th grade since it opened i've loved and the cool thing is that i've been there since kindergarten also when it opened. Since I've been there its been super cool its an awesome school. This year for the upper graders they gave us laptops (6th, 7th, 8th) chromebooks and its much easer to do our homework and it has classes for advanced people like Honors English and Honors Spanish I'm in both and it is awesome BRING YOUR KIDS YOU WILL NEVER REGRETTED

My son Adam started going to DIA since kindergarten. From early stages, it amazed me how quickly he picked up on being Bi-lingual. Loved it until while in 1st and 2nd grade we challenged our decision of keeping him at DIA as Adam was sort of academically confused, and below average advancement was shown in these two years during early adaption process. In doing my desperate research there have been many studies that show the positive outcome of bilingualism at early stages. Being Bi-Lingual enhances kids cognitive and academic growth. I can now say that these "molding/adaption" years were most necessary as he was going through a transformation of dual language environment. He had to unconsciously teach himself to understand, process, and act in English and in perfect Spanish! High expectations for a little guy. We are so glad we stuck around and trusted DIA's curriculum academic process! Since then, we proudly share Adam's development, linguistic growth, and his multi-cultural enrichment. Be patient and trust the process!
