Middle School Programs
At Dual Immersion Academy we encourage our students to be involved in extra curricular activities. This provides opportunities to hold leadership positions, develop character, and learn to be better citizens in their community. We offer programs in a variety of fields and interest levels.
KMS Foundation
We are excited to invite you to join DIA’s new cultural dance and music program in partnership with the Kings Music Studios Foundation!
This is a wonderful opportunity for your child to explore Latin American rhythms, traditions, and creativity through dance and music. ALL CLASSES will be held inside DIA’S building. Classes Include-
- Raíces Mexicanas
- Latin Folklore/Champeta & Latin Hip-Hop
- Percussion
- Latin Hip-Hop & Salsa
Art Club
Art club is a small group of middle school students who are interested in creating art. In Art club, we do more things that we may not get time for in Art class and that are a bit messier that cannot be done with a whole class.
Writing Club
Develop your voice and flex your writing skills. Create short stories, start a creative writing journal, share your ideas, and more!

Athletics
DIA’s middle school is equipped with a sports program that includes volleyball, basketball, track and field, and soccer. These sports allow the students to compete against other charter schools in the state and to develop teamwork and sportsmanship qualities.

GEAR UP
Dual Immersion Academy is a proud GEAR UP school thanks to a wonderful partnership with Utah State University. This program affords our students the opportunity to visit college campuses on a regular basis and offers unique career and technical training, financial aid instruction, parent involvement education, and college readiness preparation all in one.
LATINOS IN ACTION
Dual Immersion Academy partners with Latinos in Action (LIA) and holds this program on campus. LIA helps our students to become leaders and examples in the community. A major piece of this framework is a tutoring program that allows older students to tutor their younger peers here at school. LIA students spend a couple of days a week working with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade students on their reading fluency and comprehension.
