Salary: $17 – $19 an hour
Job Description:
Paraprofessionals work with small ability-level groups of students to provide supplemental
instruction in reading or mathematics. They assist students who have higher support needs in their
mastery of English reading or mathematics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality one-on-one or small-group instruction.
- Support a diverse range of students with varying levels of ability and learning styles.
- Help prepare instructional materials for lessons.
- Manage student behavior in the classroom by establishing and enforcing rules and
procedures outlined by the school. - Use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to monitor and evaluate student progress.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and administrators regarding student progress and
development.
